PM Kisan Yojana
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is an central government scheme with 100% funding from government of India. This scheme was started from 01 December 2018. It is introduced to financial support 6000/- per year in three equal installments to all the land holding former families.
Key Features of PM Kisan Yojana
- PM Kisan is a Central Sector scheme with 100% funding from Government of India.
- It has become operational from 1.12.2018.
- Under the scheme an income support of 6,000/- per year in three equal installments will be provided to all land holding farmer families.
- Definition of family for the scheme is husband, wife and minor children.
- State Government and UT administration will identify the farmer families which are eligible for support as per scheme guidelines.
- The fund will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
- There are various Exclusion Categories for the scheme.
Who are Eligible for PM Kisan
All the land holding farmers are eligible to apply PM Kisan Yojana. Beneficiary should fallow eligibility criteria.
- Farmer should be Indian National.
- Farmer families that hold cultivate land can apply for this scheme.
- Small and Marginal formers are eligible to get this benefit.
Anyway beneficiaries falling under the below categories are not eligible for PMKSNY.
Who are not Eligible for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana PMKSNY?
The following categories of beneficiaries of higher economic status shall not be eligible for benefit under the scheme.
- All Institutional Land holders.
- Farmer families which belong to one or more of the following categories.
- Former and present holders of constitutional posts
- Former and present Ministers/ State Ministers and former/present Members of LokSabha/ RajyaSabha/ State Legislative Assemblies/ State Legislative Councils, former and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations, former and present Chairpersons of District Panchayats.
- All serving or retired officers and employees of Central/ State Government Ministries /Offices/ Departments and its field units Central or State PSEs and Attached offices /Autonomous Institutions under Government as well as regular employees of the Local Bodies (Excluding Multi Tasking Staff /Class IV/Group D employees)
- All superannuated/retired pensioners whose monthly pension is Rs.10,000/-or more (Excluding Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV/Group D employees) of above category
- All Persons who paid Income Tax in last assessment year
- Professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, and Architects registered with Professional bodies and carrying out profession by undertaking practices.
How to Apply for PM Kisan Scheme 2024
After assuming the eligibility criteria land holding formers can apply through official website.
Before applying to this scheme beneficiaries keep this documents.
- Aadhar card in original
- Mobile phone which is linked with your Aadhar card. While applying OTP will receive to this number.
- Pattadhar Passbook.
- Scan Passbook, Aadhar card and make this pdf.
Steps to Apply PM Kisan Online
- First logon to official website pmkisan.gov.in.
- In the Home page right corner click on "New Former Registration".
- Select Rural or Urban and enter Aadhar number, phone number and select your state. Enter captcha and click on OTP.
- Enter OTP and provide your land details and click on submit button.
- Beneficiary ID will receive to your mobile number.
- Wait for Approve or Reject your Application in Block/Sub District level.
- After Approval of your application form complete "E-KYC" with OTP or biometric.
